works if you select the right
group of securities and place yourself on the right side of the market. In both
rising and falling market conditions, actively managing a small changing basket
of securities is the CAMS approach. Point: The net effect of typical
"diversification" (40% bonds, 40% stocks, 20% cash) is to go nowhere. One goes
up, another down. And if the market is falling under that approach, you will
lose big. Also inflation and taxation require "CONCENTRATION" within the
prevailing trend. To diversify within that trend is better. Follow the trend,
don't sit around waiting for it to come to you! That's how CAMS offers you
the opportunity to capitalize on the movements of various markets. There
are no "secrets" in what CAMS does. Knowledge, timing and experience open
the door for your money to gain exposure to a wide variety of trading vehicles
as opportunities become "visible." Enjoy your visit here, and then
make contact for individual attention.
(Remember: what you read or what you hear is of no value unless the right
action is taken at the right time.)

are appropriate for this management service.. Variable Annuity

Manager Profile:
Edward G.
Caplinger, AAMS
Through the use of a "Limited
Trading Authorization," Ed enters "buy" and "sell" orders in your account at his
sole discretion. He manages your account as if it were his own, with a
focus on high potential trading ("high" potential = high risk), adjusted to the
risk preferences of each client.
Ed's financial
services career began in 1966 and continues to the present day. Ed
formally worked in the securities industry during the period of 1985-1990 as a
typical stockbroker,
during which time he held the NASD Registered Representative and Registered
Securities Principal designations. In the early 90's, Ed stopped selling
investments as a stockbroker and later began managing his clients' money as a private,
unregistered money manager. Although education and training in the securities industry is helpful in
mastering the mechanics, nothing compares to the "education" that comes from being
"in the heat of the battle" on a daily basis. Remember... the
stock market is strictly a game of chance, but the odds of winning are usually
much better than in a casino. How's that for honesty?
The market is a moving
target and needs a dynamic, diversified and flexible approach. Day in and day out, CAMS will
have it's hands on the wheel of your account. The only CAMS motivation for
trading is
to see your account increase in value.
But
DIVERSIFICATION does NOT mean "pick your stocks and funds and sit on them for 5
years."
| This chart
shows how 8 major categories of investment have fared over a 20
years period. The "guru" who made this chart suggests that you stay
"invested" in all 8 categories at all times, therefore being "properly"
diversified. Not even close. That's the sure way to a mediocre
result. |
